Case Study: Blaenfynnon

This farmhouse stands high above the North Pembrokeshire coast and was suffering water ingress to its pine end, which sits alongside a stream. Cracks in the cement on the pine end were allowing moisture to enter the wall whenever it rained. The cement was removed and replaced with a lime roughcast and five coats of white limewash which allows the absorption and evaporation of moisture..
